Restore function and movement with a bespoke treatment plan designed to reduce your pain and recovery time
Physiotherapy helps to restore function and movement to people affected by injury, illness, or disability. By considering the body as a whole, rather than focusing on the individual aspects of an injury or illness, physiotherapists are able to treat a wide range of conditions to help people of all ages manage their pain and maintain their future health by reducing the risk of injury or illness.
Physiotherapy takes a holistic approach that involves patients directly in their own care using a combination of movement and tailored exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.
At Apex Physiotherapy we understand all patients are different and tailor our treatments to meet the individual needs of the patient. Your goals become our goals as we find a long-term solution that eradicates or alleviates pain.
Our patient centred approach combined with longer appointment times allows us to gain a better understanding of your condition to create a bespoke treatment plan that can be accessed online through our partnership with Physiotec.
Using the Physiotec app our patients can access bespoke home exercise programs with high quality video tutorials, step-by-step instructions, patient education documents, and engaging tracking features that allow us to monitor their progress between appointments.
Physiotherapy Exercise Software that combines innovative, user-friendly technologies to create the ultimate therapist-patient experience to boost engagement levels and drive results
To be able to help as many people as possible we also offer virtual appointments.
Through our partnership with Cliniko we are able to offer secure video consultations to our patients using the integrated Telehealth software.
Physiotheraphy can treat the following conditions:
The number of sessions you require will depend on your condition, pain level, and how well your body responds to the treatment. We will discuss the number of sessions we think you will need as part of your tailored treatment plan during your initial consultation.
During your initial assessment we will try to gain an understanding of the pain that you are experiencing and how the pain started. If your pain started as a result of an injury, we will ask you to tell us about the injury or as much information you have about the pain to gain the best possible understanding and develop a tailored treatment plan.
We recommend that you wear clothes that are loose fitting and comfortable as it's likely your treatment session will involve elements of movement and we will need to be able to access the area where your pain is. We highly recommed wearing shorts and a short sleeve top for your appointment. Changing facilities are also available on site for those who need them.
Our longer appointment times mean we are able to discuss your results with you during the initial consultation. We wont require you to book a follow up session to discuss the results and will start your rehabilitation from the day we first meet you.
